Large-scale Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Electricity Across Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced escalating strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in blackouts in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and dealt with interruptions to water systems, per reports from city officials.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified assaults on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the US, European nations and the major economies - in providing defensive weapons and implementing penalties," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 rockets targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles damaged energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Multiple people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Government officials told the media that Russia was purposely seeking to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting gas facilities.
